Onur is the Managing Partner of the firm, serving as a trusted strategic advisor to clients on complex legal, transactional, regulatory, public policy, and litigation matters. He brings a unique blend of legal expertise and commercial acumen, advising at the intersection of law, strategy, and operations across the TMT and energy sectors globally.
With extensive experience managing portfolio companies and operational businesses, Onur delivers practical, business-focused solutions that align legal strategy with long-term objectives. His leadership is defined by navigating high-stakes environments and enabling growth through strategic investments and cross-border partnerships.
Before founding the firm, Onur served as Executive Director at Karpowership—the global leader and operator of the world’s only Powership™ fleet (40 vessels with over 7,000 MW of installed capacity). There, he played a key role in medium- to long-term investments, helping expand access to fast-track, affordable, and reliable electricity in emerging markets.
Previously, he was General Counsel at beIN Media Group in Turkey, overseeing legal, regulatory, and compliance matters with a team of 30. He also served as Legal Director within beIN’s group legal team in France, where he advised on cross-border mergers & acquisitions, partnerships, and corporate strategy.
Onur also held the position of Legal Director at Oger Telecom in Dubai, managing investments across Turkey, South Africa, and the Middle East. Earlier in his career, he practiced at Allen & Overy in Istanbul and at Hergüner Bilgen Özeke, focusing on financings, M&A, corporate governance, and commercial law.
He holds an LL.B. from Marmara University, an LL.M. from the National University of Singapore and East China University of Politics and Law. Onur divides his time between Istanbul and Dubai. He is fluent in Turkish and English and is a member of the Istanbul Bar Association and the NUS Alumni Association.
